Practice fees

We are so pleased to be a part of your care. Our professionals are dedicated to seeing you have a comfortable and safe surgical experience. We understand that for most, the way doctors and hospitals obtain compensation for their services can be confusing and frustrating to understand. We are dedicated to maintaining complete transparency regrading the cost and billing process encountered when an anesthesiologist attends to your care.

The cost of anesthesia professional services is not included in your surgeon and/or the facility fees, it is a separate and distinct service. If you receive anesthesia for a procedure your insurance has preapproved as medically necessary, we will submit a claim for reimbursement on your behalf. Ultimately, the patient is responsible for paying their anesthesia bill in a prompt and timely fashion.

Even though we are an out of network provider, we will work with your insurance company to reimburse our fees as an in-network benefit when your surgeon and facility are also in-network providers under the RAPs (Radiology, Anesthesia, Pathology) provision present in most commercial insurance contracts. In other cases, we will work with your insurance carrier to obtain fair payment for the services we render, and will strive to reduce or eliminate your out of pocket expenses.

If you have a deductible, a deposit in the amount of the cash fee may be due before the day of service.
